Kathryn L. Maxwell, D.O.

Internal Medicine

Compassionate and empathetic, Dr. Maxwell believes the patient-physician relationship is a partnership to promote preventive medicine and help patients make the best choices for their health and well-being.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she sees patients 16 and older. She has special interests in gastroenterology, preventative care and women's health.

Dr. Maxwell earned her medical degree at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Wash., where she also served as chief resident. She received a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences from Michigan State University in East Lansing.

When not at work, Dr. Maxwell spends time with her husband and two children and enjoys gardening, football, horseback riding and trying new restaurants and ethnic cooking.
