Kirk D. Jacobson, MD

Dedicated to helping others, Dr. Kirk Jacobson has spent 30 years treating adults and children. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has a special interest in diabetes treatment and education.

Dr. Jacobson studied internal medicine and earned his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University (previously Oregon Medical School) in Portland. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Oregon. In 1977, he returned to Eugene to practice medicine.

Known for his friendly personality and light-hearted humor, Dr. Jacobson takes a big-picture approach to treating patients. Family, work, diet, exercise, emotional well-being – all play an important role.

When he’s not seeing patients, Kirk spends time with his family. He and his wife, Cris, have five grown children and seven grandchildren. Together, they travel and enjoy symphonic music and theatre.
